Support Team Thaddeus
2017 will mark the 3rd year of the Els for Autism event at Duke University. When my father (co-chair) Ted Moore and I had the idea to start an event at Duke, our goal was to join the powerful science and research that Duke University offers through its Center for Autism and Brain Science with the Els for Autism Foundation. In addition, SAP and the Fuqua School of Business have partnered to advance SAP's global Autism at Work initiative. With your help each event has raised over $80,000 in support of the Els for Autism Foundation.
"Team Thaddeus" is composed of 3 generations of our namesake, Ted (72), Thad (42) and our Honorary Captain Little Thad (9). Thank you for your support!!
The Els for
Autism Foundation was created by professional golfer, Ernie Els and his wife
Liezl, shortly after their son Ben was diagnosed with Autism. Proceeds from the
Golf Challenge will go towards the building of a physical and virtual Center of
Excellence that will reach out and make a difference to families on the Autism
spectrum throughout the world. The Golf Challenge, consists of 20+ golf
events across the U.S. and Canada between May - October. Els for Autism
is a US public charity (EIN #26-3520396), recognized by the Internal Revenue
Service as exempt from Federal tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the tax code.
